Where does your child start?

Start at Level 1

Level 1 is an intro class, and no experience is needed.

Move up by level

Six levels run from intro skills to advanced aerials and tucks. Placement is based on skill level, and each level after Level 1 has prerequisites.

Tumbling isn’t in the Parent Portal, so ask the front desk or call us to save a spot in the right level.

What they learn

Our tumbling program teaches tumbling for dance: power, control, aerial awareness, and clean transitions into choreography. It runs in six levels, from a no-experience intro class to advanced aerials and tucks.

Level 1 · Intro Tumbling

Basic skills like rolls, handstands, cartwheels, backbends and headstands, with a focus on strength, balance, flexibility and safe movement.

Level 2 · Intermediate Tumbling

Roundoffs, backbends from standing, limbers, running cartwheels and dive rolls.
Clean cartwheel, backbend from the floor, proper handstand and headstand.

Level 3 · Advanced Foundations

Walkovers, new handstand and cartwheel variations, and early preparation for handsprings and aerials.
Confident backbend from standing.

Level 4 · Handspring & Aerial Prep

Questions parents ask

Does my child need experience to start tumbling?

No. Level 1, Intro Tumbling, has no prerequisites. Students learn basic skills like rolls, handstands, cartwheels, backbends and headstands, with a focus on strength, balance, flexibility and safe movement.

Which tumbling level should my child start in?

Placement is based on skill level, and each level after Level 1 has prerequisites. For example, Level 2 needs a clean cartwheel, a backbend from the floor, and a proper handstand and headstand. If you’re unsure which level fits, ask the front desk and we’ll help with placement.

When are tumbling classes?

In Fall 2026, Level 1 meets Tuesday 5:00–6:00 PM, Level 2 Wednesday 5:00–6:00 PM, Level 3 Wednesday 7:00–8:00 PM, Level 4 Tuesday 4:00–5:00 PM, Level 5 Monday 7:00–8:00 PM and Level 6 Monday 8:00–9:00 PM.

How much does tumbling cost?

Tumbling: $45/month add-on to other classes

Early withdrawal: Tumbling $30

$50 per child ($100 family max)
Sibling discount
10% off the 2nd child, 25% off each additional (same household)
Tuition due
The 1st of each month. A $10 late fee is charged on the 8th.
